Position Details

President

Organize and lead all general and executive board meetings for CSE-SAB.
Serve as chair of executive board.
Serve as the organization’s representative.
Communicate with other members of executive board.
Establish ad hoc committees.
Perform other requirements as needed.

Vice President

Coordinates programs with the president and the executive committee.
Communicates with president on plans or special work.
Preside at meetings or represent the organization in the president’s absence.
Work with leaders and other officers on committees.
Runs Peer Mentor Program (marketing, recruiting, matching members, running activities and meetups).

Treasurer

Serve as the main operator for finances in the organization.
Draft an annual budget.
Coordinate with other members of the organization to organize funding for club operations.
Ensure all funds are used appropriately and for their intended purposes.
Coordinate with SOFS office to ensure organization expenditure records are up to date.


Secretary

The secretary is responsible for communication and administration within CSE-SAB. This includes:
Maintaining the group email list and sending notifications to the group.
Attendance: taking attendance at meetings, Looking at attendance to determine if any members are not meeting their attendance requirements.
Minutes: Take meeting minutes and place them in the CSE-SAB drive for future reference.

Event-Planning Committee Head

Serve as the main organizer for all organization events.
Lead event planning committee meetings and lead group discussion.
Draft an annual agenda for events.
Coordinate with other members of the organization to plan event.

Student Relations Committee Head

Serve as the main organizer for all organization public outreach.
Lead student relations committee meetings and lead group discussion.
Manage all CSE-SAB outreach accounts (social media, correspondence with UNL, etc); manage CSE-SAB website.
Coordinate with events committee to advertise any events.
